ABOUT MEDITATION

Image
What is Meditation? Meditation is often defined as thinking continuously about one object of thought. We often get stuck on this definition, however, and lose the real purpose of meditation. Meditation must reveal the true nature of that object upon which we are meditating. Such revelation comes not as a thought, but as a feeling. Therefore, meditation is a process in which we shift from thinking to feeling. It is a journey from the complexity of mind to the simplicity of heart. It is for this reason that most methods of meditation involve the heart. How to Meditate ? Meditation is simpler (and harder) than most people think. Read these steps, make sure you’re somewhere where you can relax into this process, set a timer, and give it a shot: 1) Take a seat Find place to sit that feels calm and quiet to you. 2) Set a time limit If you’re just beginning, it can help to choose a short time, such as five or 10 minutes. 3) Notice your body You can sit in a chair with your feet on the floor, ...

Image
Time management is an eternal struggle for many people and especially those of us who work full-time and then some. We must be constantly vigilant of how we spend time or risk being overrun with work or chores at home. I know personally that I have to be careful about getting sucked into social media. It starts out with me innocently checking Facebook or Twitter posts for the business . The next thing I know, ten or more minutes have passed with me scrolling through funny posts from friends. While social media can be entertaining, educational, and inspirational it can also easily become addicting. If you’re looking for ways to avoid getting sucked into social media and wasting time, try the tips below. 1. Set Daily Goals Something I’ve found that helps me avoid wasting time on social media when I’m working is to set daily goals. Setting goals, such as writing a certain number of posts, helps me to stay focused. To set my goals I sometimes have a brief planning session with myself...

Why are some engineers still unemployed in India? What are the lacks?

Image
Reality always bitter! So it is a fact, my friend, that in India choosing Engineering means choosing the worst career ever. There are lots of   that teach Engineering but despite that, the net result is 0. Why? Let’s point out that. Quality always matters: In India no doubt there are some good colleges like IITs, NITS and some famous private colleges too, but apart from that other engineering colleges in India never produce quality students or future engineers. Some basic problems students face in their colleges:  Almost we all notice or watch the movie 3 IDIOTS, where the base or the movie plot is engineering syllabus and its pressure, so these kinds of things really happened in our real society also. The way of teaching here in the colleges are not good, students have to go through the Ratification, class copy and CGPA, no scope to research and then learn, the college will never give you any scope to do something ...

Why does a big country like INDIA fail to produce top class athletes?

Image
Backdrop of weak performance of Indian Olympic team Although India saw a number of rising stars in the past Olympic Games, the performance of Indian athletes and the tally of medals acquired by the contingents have been consistently poor. Being the second most populous country, India holds the worst Olympic record in terms of medals per head. India won only one gold medal in the past three decades in 2008 in the men’s 10m rifle. The London 2012 Olympics have been remarkable for India as it bagged six medals, which is additionally its biggest haul. However, if we look at the ratio of population to medals, the tally stands at one medal for every 200 million people. This record indubitably explains the picture of India’s performance.  Shortcomings of Indian Sports Law The reason behind India’s failure to produce quality players and improving the performance of athletes in Olympics over the years can also be attributed to poorly implemented sports laws. Sports law never obtained vital ...

India’s big dreams of semiconductor manufacturing and the challenges that lie ahead

Image
The latest semiconductor chip crunch has sent ripples through entire sections of the economy that rely on them. From the automobile sector to electronics, the chip  has shaken up companies and countries. In the midst of this unprecedented crisis, India is in talks with Taiwan to set up an indigenous semiconductor assembly plant worth $7.5 billion, with the Indian government paying for at least half the amount, reported Bloomberg. But while India is dreaming big of becoming a new semiconductor processing hub for the world, the likely outcome is going to be much more modest or disappointing. This is not the first time that the government has tried to woo semiconductor manufacturing companies to open shop in India either. The shortage has only exacerbated and highlighted the key weakness in India’s position in the global electronic supply chain. Despite being one of the largest consumer markets of electronics and smartphones, India remains a net importer of both. Around 40 percent of ...
